UK Status Resident. Widespread and locally fairly common throughout the British Isles as far north as Easter Ross. Montgomeryshire Status Found in a few scattered sites throughout the county. Wingspan : M & F, 9-12mm. Confusion species None. |

(Bivoltine)  Habitat Mainly in damp places. Foodplant Willowherb spp. Lifestage data Leaf miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva first mines a narrow gallery soon becoming an elongate blotch. Pupates in a whitish cocoon on adjacent vegetation or in leaf litter. |
